• HS Boys’ Tennis

The U19 A and B tennis boys played against Hilton and Grace respectively. Although both teams lost, congratulations to Lance Comins and Tommy Pride who won their singles games.

•  HS Girls’ Tennis

U/19 lost 5 – 1.  Congratulations to Ivanna Dede who won her singles match 8 – 4.  U/15 lost 5-1.  Congratulations to Jamie Buchan who won her singles match 6 – 1. 

• U10 and U11 Girls’ Soccer 

The u/10 and u/11 soccer girls travelled to Laddsworth on 7 August. The u/10 girls lost 1-3 and the u/11 girls drew 0-0.

• U11 Boys’ hockey

On Saturday the u 11 boys played in a hockey tournament at Wembley. The boys played 4 games where they won 2 lost 1 and drew the last game. Well done boys.

The Cambridge syllabuses are continuously reviewed and updated to maintain these high standards and to stay at the forefront of educational development.

 

We at Wembley College are proud to be part of this network of approximately 6000 Cambridge Centres throughout the world and are convinced that this system has proven itself to produce successful, goal-orientated individuals as is evident in the achievements of our past scholars. At Wembley College our pupils achieve two qualifications, namely International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and and Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS Level).

 

The IGCSE courses are studied in Forms 3 & 4 with the external examinations being written at the end of Form 4 (Grade 10). The AS Level courses are studied in Forms 5 & 6 with the external examinations being written at the end of Form 6 (Grade 12).
